Privacy Policy
Accrue is built on the assumption that your data stays with you: no account is required, we do not collect your positions or trades, and we ship no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
What we collect
Only the following, and only to make the features work:
Push device token (APNs): used to deliver dividend and overvaluation alerts to this device once you turn them on
Installation identifier: a random string generated on first launch — not a phone number, not an email, and it carries no identity information. Reinstalling generates a new one
What you set up: stock codes you follow, your overvaluation price, alert switches — used to fetch quotes and send alerts
Purchase and subscription status: transaction id, product id, expiry — used to verify the purchase with Apple and unlock Pro features
Request signing data: timestamp, single-use nonce, signature — used to detect tampering and replay
What we do not collect
No name, phone number, email, contacts, location or photos
No advertising identifier (IDFA) and no cross-app tracking of any kind
No positions, trades or dividend records: those live on your device; if you enable iCloud they sync through Apple's private iCloud database, which we cannot access
No third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs
How the data is used
To send the dividend and overvaluation alerts you enabled
To fetch quotes and dividend data and compute valuations
To verify purchases and unlock Pro features
To keep the service safe (rate limiting, replay protection)
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing.
Where it is stored, and for how long
Servers are located in mainland China (ICP filing completed)
Device and subscription records are kept until you ask us to delete them; market and dividend data are public data with no personal information
Deleting the app does not delete the device and subscription records on our servers (they are needed to verify subscriptions and prevent abuse) — you can ask us to delete them at any time using the contact details below
Third parties
Apple: push (APNs), purchase and subscription verification (App Store), iCloud sync — each governed by Apple's own privacy policy
Market and dividend data providers: called from our servers with stock codes only, never with user information
Your rights
In the app: export a backup (JSON) or clear local data at any time
The app lock uses Face ID / Touch ID; biometric data never leaves your device and we cannot read it
To access, correct or delete records on our servers, contact us and we will respond within 15 business days
Children
The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date on this page is updated; significant changes are announced in the app.
