Terms of Service
Welcome to Accrue. By using this app you agree to the terms below.
1. What the service is
The app provides stock record keeping, valuation calculations, market and dividend data, notification delivery, and in-app purchases. Features may be added, changed or retired.
2. Data is for reference only — not investment advice
Market, valuation, dividend and return figures come from third-party data sources and are processed by us. They are for record keeping and reference only and do not constitute investment advice, an offer, or a promise of any kind. Any decision you make based on them, and its consequences, are yours alone.
3. Your data
Positions, trades and dividend records are stored on your device (optionally synced through your own private iCloud database). We neither receive nor store that content. Please do not enter sensitive information you would not want kept on your device or iCloud.
4. No account, and devices
There is no account system; an installation identifier is generated on your device at first launch so we can recognise it. Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, and do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or attack our service.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions (monthly / quarterly / yearly) renew automatically and are charged to your Apple ID; unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, they renew and are charged again
The one-time purchase (Lifetime) is a single payment and does not include separate products released later
Purchases can be restored on other devices signed in with the same Apple ID
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we cannot issue refunds directly. Pro features stop after a refund or revocation
Trials and promotions are provided by Apple; their terms are as shown on the purchase screen
6. Changes and termination
You may stop using the app and delete it at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the service when necessary; for free features we will try to give notice in advance.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from interruptions, delays, errors or third-party data sources. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Third parties
Market and dividend data come from third-party data providers; notifications, purchases and subscriptions are provided by Apple, and Apple's terms and policies also apply.
9. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date on this page is updated. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
